Control your 'Jinchuriki'

Do you know that we also have Jinchuriki ?
What ?! Like the ones in Naruto?!
Yeah, that one. The nine-tailed fox (kyuubi). But it is called 'Nafs', not Kyuubi.
How the heck 'Nafs' had something to do with Kyuubi..
It does... let me tell you how.

Assalamualaikum and good day.

Tribute to all Naruto fans... haha.

Do you know that we also have things in our soul called Jinchuriki? (or one of the famous Jinchuriki is called 'Kyuubi')

You don't???

No way...

You should know, though. Well, it's not something that you can see like Kyuubi, but it does exist.

And that Jinchuriki... (the actual Jinchuriki..wooo) is called 'Nafs'.

Why is Nafs is like Jinchuriki?

If you watched Naruto, remember how Kyuubi can create such destruction when Naruto can't control it?

Remembeerrr? I know you never missed a single episode of Naruto...

Right.. Then, do you remember how, once Naruto could control some of Kyuubi's power, he became powerful and able to save other people??

Yup

That's how it works.

Nafs, as you all know is a very strong power stored within our body. If you let it loose uncontrollably, it will go wild and cause destruction.

It will lead you into committing sins, etc.

But Nafs can also be a powerful tool if we let it loose with control. For example, anger and hunger. We need those to maintain the survival of our life and this Deen.

If we can't get angry? How are we to have the emotion of protecting this Deen and the ones we loved?

If we can't get hungry? How are we to maintain survival??

Naruto controlled Kyuubi with his Chakra...

And that is how we do it as well..

We control it with our 'Chakra' as well.

Well.. yeah, I agree. It IS easier said than done. But it's not impossible.

We want to be like Naruto... working so hard to overpower Kyuubi

Such 'Chakra' is called Taqwa

three simple ways to go about training your chakra.

#1 Muwahaddah

Remember all the promises we make to Allah in our solat for example, in doa iftitah, we said "Our solat, our ibadat, our life and death is for the sake of Allah."

OR

in Al-fatihah, "You whom we worshipped and You whom we asked for help." (1:5)

#2 Muraqabah

Always, I repeat, always...

Have this feeling that Allah watches over you... (in fact He does, though.. huhu)

3# Muhasabah

Always do reflection on whatever we have done. Have we done something based on Allah's perspective or is it Nafs perspective?

These are 3 out of the many ways that we can improve our chakra.

Yup, it IS easier said done. I stumbled sometimes.. WE ALL stumbled sometimes.

Fighting against 'Kyuubi' is no small matter.

But it is a matter of life and death. May Allah guide us.
